Filmar Medical Division appeared on the Italian Market in the late Sixties when cooperating with well known companies begun producing compressive bandages. No longer passed before Filmar catching new market opportunities increased the production mentioned above manufacturing support bandages, fixing and ribbed piquè tapes, tear tapes, wrist pads and semi-finished materials for corset production.

Nowadays our research area and technological developing process, strongly improved thanks to experience in Medical segment, bring productive area to the realisation of innovative products such as zinc oxide bandages, zinc – menthol bandages and dressed bandages in general. For what concern adhesive and fitting bandages using innovative products at present we are able to reach a very high degree of hypoallergenicity thanks to the substitution of cautciuc.

A specific study conducted by Filmar allows the production to soak bandages also with fluids and to create a packing system able to match beauty segment needs.

Filmar Medical Division business strategy involved two great distributive channels:
1.hospital with production oriented to the phlebo-lymphogia, orthopaedia and first aid qualifications;
2. private segment with production oriented to known companies with distribute their log through sanitary pharmacies-orthopaedic.
Looking at export area Filmar is today proud of be a main competitor on European market, Far East market and South America market.
